Just a quick news update, seems John Peel and XFM have been spinning "June and July Exploding" and "Make a Decision And Stick To It" respectively over the last few weeks, which is kinda cool. We are currently busy writing new material of which 2 tracks "Built You A Trojan Horse" and "Maintain Radio Silence" we got to premiere on the Juliana Theory Tour. They rule. Well its almost Christmas, enjoy, and save the turkey neck for me. Yeah right. Big ten four, over and out. Steve

hey so thanks a lot to everyone who came out to see us last week, it was great to play with The Juliana Theory and Funeral For A Friend - both bands were really cool to us. All the shows we played were rocking, the highlight being Friday nights show at the 100 Club, one of the hottest gigs we've ever played!

Thats us done for the year now as far as shows goes - but were lining up a whole load of dates for the new year, so check back here soon to see what is confirmed.

update update...these things seem to take their time these days, were going to be on the case in the future (mmm maybe!)...so the main news this time is that contrary to our last update were now back down to a four piece line-up as things didnt go to plan with Giles - it was great having him in the band but it wasnt really working out for us...but onwards and upwards - were going on tour next week with THE JULIANA THEORY(www.thejulianatheory.com) and FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND (www.funeralforafriend.com) so come check it out, it should be rockin - the SHOWS page has all the dates. see ya!

Ok, we got lots of stuff going on since the last time we put anything up so here goes...

Firstly, Gareth has decided to leave the band - it was a totally amicable parting with Gareth playing his last show on September 10th when we played with STRIKE ANYWHERE in London. It was a great night, so thanks to everyone that came down.

We've managed to find a replacement for him in the shape of Giles Davies, we played our first shows with Giles last week supporting HELL IS FOR HEROES, all the shows were great - a big shout out to HIFH for taking us out with them and generally being very cool to us.

In what is turning out to be an unfortunate sequence of cancelled shows, we're sorry to say that the SMALL BROWN BIKE tour in October has been postponed. SMALL BROWN BIKE had a load of stuff come up that made it impossible for them to make it over, hopefully they will be back next year.

Our new EP 'Fireworks For Summer' (FFLY015CD) is now going to be released on Firefly Records on 21st October, available from Plastic Head. FIREFLY will have copies of it for sale from 7th October so get to it! Before that we've got a few shows coming up so check out the updated SHOWS section for more information. The show with THE MOVIELIFE and FLETCHER in London on October 4th is sold out but we'll have copies of the new EP for sale for the first time on the 16th at the Verge show. See yous later

So our new EP has finally been recorded and after several bouts of mastering shenanigans it's ready to go. Entitled 'Fireworks For Summer' it will consist of five new tracks:

I Think Of Earthquakes
June And July Exploding
Make A Decision And Stick To It
Subject Matter Closed
The Science Of Distance And Travel

The EP will be out on Firefly Recordings (FF015CD) on October 7th, distributed by Plastic Head. There will be some tracks from the EP up on this site soon.
This Sundays show with Strike Anywhere at the Concorde 2 in Brighton has been cancelled. It wont be rescheduled, however the London show at the Underworld on September 10th which also features Trail By Fire and Blocko is still going ahead.
