So it's been over a month since we managed to update the site but we've been pretty busy over the last few weeks. We made it round in France in one piece, a massive thanks goes out to Sam and all the Second Rate boys, also Dan and Laurent for sorting stuff out for us. The tour was our most fun yet, there should be some pictures up soon, and hopefully we will be heading back over sometime in the summer.

Our new split EP with Second Rate on Firefly has been delayed slighty because of problems with the first pressing, it will be now be released at the end of the month. It includes five new tracks from each band and it'll be on sale for £6 at our shows or £7 post paid from us. If you'd like to order a copy please email us or contact info@fireflyrecordings.com - it will be distributed through Plastic Head. There will be some new MP3s up on the site soon.

We are pleased to say that were going to be opening up the punk/hardcore stage at this years Essential Festival in Bristol, also on bill are Sick Of It All, Raging Speedhorn, Jello Biafra and Capdown amongst others,check out www.essentialfestival.com for full details. There are some new dates up in the shows section aswell.

We have a couple of compilation appearances coming up, already out is 'Amped Up' on In At the Deep End records, this cd features 30 UK bands which include Fig 4.0, Twofold and Cleatus, you can check it out at www.ukbase.org.uk

Lawless Records in Germany have got our track 'Hateful Place' down for a compilation that also includes appearances from Deluge and Annalise, it will be out in April, mail us for more info.

We have a couple of shows coming up, firstly on Friday 8th February were opening for The Movielife and Grade in Brighton. If you want to buy tickets for the show you can now get them from us or the Punker Bunker in Brighton. The full line up for the show is;

The first show of the year is upon us already - were playing this Saturday (5th January 2002) at the Peel in Kingston with OTHERWISE, FISHTAKE and MY AWESOME COMPILATION - doors open at 7pm and its only £2 to get in!

Also, the forum is fixed and up and running!

So its almost Chirstmas and what better way to celebrate than the Just One Life Xmas bash this Saturday (22/12) at the Free Butt in Brighton?! Were going to be playing our last show of the year along with Twofold, My Deaf Audio and the Fun People (all the way from Argentina!) the doors are at 7pm and its 4 pounds to get in - it should be rockin!

This year has been really good for us as a band, what with doing some cool tours and sorting out our new line-up, we've got a new EP ready to go at thestar of February and we've got some cool shows lined up for the start of next year...thanks to everyone who has come to a show or bought a cd, and extra thanks to Chris, Nina and Buz for being cool to us! HAPPY NEW YEAR MUTHAFUCKERS!!!

We've been told that the show on Tuesday 6th November, Upstairs at the Garage supporting Planes Mistaken For Stars looks like its going to sell out - tickets are on sale now for £5 and can be bought in advance from the Garage, the Mean Fiddler, Camden Ticket shop, Stargreen, Ticketmaster or online from Ticketweb http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=uk&query=schedule&venue=upstairs
This should be a wicked show as Imbalance are playing as well!

We have a whole new load of tour dates up on the shows page – hopefully we’ll see you over the next few weeks...We also have new t-shirts and hoodies on the way, which you can get either at shows or from this website.

The summer has been a fairly quiet time for us as we have concentrated our efforts on writing new material with our new guitarist Burton. Over the last few weeks we have been attempting to record our new as yet untitled EP, which will be a split release with an excellent French band called Second Rate. It is being put out through Firefly Recordings in the UK and Kerosene Records in France. The EP should be out in the New Year. Tracks set for inclusion are:

Gravity Caused Me To Crash And Burn
Small Wars Fought Everyday
Driven To Magnetic North
The Rise And Fall Of Me And You
Damage Assessment

The recordings have been going well and mixing is due to begin shortly. We are also hitting the road during late October and early November. These shows will be with Kids Near Water and then Planes Mistaken For Stars – check out the Shows page for more details.
